Who would shoot a cat?
We don’t know, but we’re here to pick up the pieces when BARCS Animal Shelter and other local area shelters call.
Marty is just another of many gunshot victims we took in over the past year. He was found wandering the streets of Baltimore and crying out in pain due to a horrible injury to his left femur. One of our main goals as a rescue organization is to help abused dogs and cats with recovery and rehabilitation. When BARCS alerted us to Marty’s situation, we took Marty into AARF for long-term care and love.
Cage rest and love did the trick and Marty is now mended and ready for his forever home. He is a sweet, amazing boy and he reminds us of why we do what we do.
If you can’t offer Marty a home, there are other ways you can help us save another life. Make sure you’re using #AmazonSmile (smile.amazon.com/ch/45-5074781) when you’re shopping on Amazon or simply donate to us at http://www.paypal.me/aarf during this #SeasonofSmiles.
It’s with the support of folks like you that we’re able to save lives of animals in need.
