Please join us in CELEBRATING the ADOPTIONS of Ruthie, Ella & Prince Harry, Titan, Peaches and Mask!
Ruthie’s story: Ruthie was only one month old when her owner didn’t want her anymore and therefore surrendered her to a local animal shelter. She was placed with foster mom Tracy for a little TLC before she was ready to be adopted. Now she has a new home and a new name –Zephyrus! Her new dad, Brandon, shared that “she is doing well and getting along with our other cat.”
Ella and Prince Harry’s story: These two “miracle fur babies” were found in a basement window well, along with their three siblings, two days after the momma cat was found. They were lucky to have been found alive and thrived in their foster home with Bart until ready for adoption.
They now have a meow-velous life with Molly who adopted them! Molly told us that “They love each other so much and I am so glad that I adopted them together. They play all day and snuggle together at night. Ella, now named Greta, is an independent explorer girl and is constantly living up to cats’ curious reputations. Harry is a mama’s boy and wants to be close to me at all times. He even gets a bit jealous if I give attention to Greta and will sometimes sit on her head! I call them my velcro kittens because they stick to me!”
Titan’s story: This sweet pup was surrendered by his owner to Rescue Well, who in turn
contacted us. He enjoyed his foster home with Ilana and Steven but was thrilled to find his forever home only five weeks after he joined our rescue! Helene told us that “I couldn’t be happier with my new lovable dog. I’ve renamed him “Stewie” which sees to fit him better. We are happy as can be. He’s pretty needy for attention, but that’s fine with me most of the time. He is completely house trained.”
Peaches’ story: This five year old Maltese mix pup was found as a stray and taken to BARCS. She joined our rescue and wagged her tail all the way to her foster mom’s home. Her new mom adores her and tells us that “Peaches is doing wonderful; very happy, healthy and spoiled! She is a dream.”
Mask’s story: Life was uncertain for this nine week old kitten and his four siblings until they were rescued by Bonnie, an AARF volunteer. She also fostered them and kept them safe and very well loved. Mask found his forever home with Michelle and is now living a wonderful life!
Michelle shared that “He now goes by Beaux. He settled in immediately on night one, which he spent chasing my 10 year old cat around the apartment and claimed sleeping on me when we all went to bed. His favorite activities are: playing catch with his many stuffed animals, hanging out behind the safety of the plastic liner and playing with the soap bubbles while I shower, and chasing his older sibling. The new mantra in the house is, “It’s a tail, not a toy!”
