Please join us in celebrating the one year adoption anniversaries of Brutus, Austin, Gilbert, Payton, Puppers, Prince, Belle, and Chloe!
Brutus
“We can’t believe it’s been a year since we added Brutus to our family! My three children and I love him so much and can’t believe how lucky we were in getting such an amazing cat! He is so sweet, loving and playful! Thank you so much for giving us the opportunity to adopt our boy!” — Eleni
Austin
“Hamish (formerly Austin) is doing well! We got married on the fourth of July and Hamish was part of the festivities as well. He walked down the aisle, wore a very fetching bow tie, and got plenty of love from everyone invited. He just celebrated his second birthday and we can’t wait for many more to come!”– Kristen
Glibert
“We love this ornery, rambunctious cat, and couldn’t imagine our lives without him now. He’s truly a member of the family. Thank you AARF for bringing us together!”– Jessica
Payton
“Payton’s name was changed to Manny or “Big Man” and he is a beloved member of our family. While he will forever have a limp and other physical issues, we enrolled him in hydrotherapy after we adopted him and he recovered from his leg surgery. The little fella went through a lot before arriving at our home but through love and patience he’s come to trust us and knows he is well cared for. He loves to be out and about and going to the beach is one of his all-time favorite activities! As you can see by the photos, he and our other dog are now fast friends.”–Barbara
Puppers
“Hard to believe it’s been a year! Puppers continues to be the best. He’s a world champion napper and snuggler and just wants to chill with his people as much as possible. He loves walks and still goes into puppy zoomies when I grab his leash. People always comment that he looks like he’s smiling and winking, and it’s true–his happy face perfectly reflects his sweet, easygoing personality. His smiley face makes my day every time he greets me. I love him to pieces…thanks for giving me the chance to have this happy go lucky little pirate in my life!” –Erin
Lilly
“Lilly and Lila (formally known as Lucy who was also adopted from AARF), are like ham and cheese. Although she is an indoor cat, she loves to sit on the porch with us, play in the garden and chase lightning bugs!”- Laura
Prince
“Yuki (the artist formerly known as Prince) is doing beautifully. He’s healthy as a horse and eats like one too! He adores his playtime (he’s a beast with Da Bird). His brother Puck is completely in love with him. Thanks for the anniversary wishes, and I’ll give Yuki a skritch from you.”- Phoebe
Belle and Chloe
“Belle and Chloe were renamed Hannah and Mia. They bring a lot of joy to our home. Their favorite place is to be together. They rule the roost and tend to order us around a little. Hannah (the all black one) loves to play fetch and is quite the talker. Mia (striped) is a little more reserved. One of her favorite things is the scratching post and the cat tower we have in the basement. She loves to sit on top of it and look down on anyone who passes by. They both love our screened porch. They like to watch the bird feeder we have just outside it.”- Terri
