Ivan
Well hello there! I’m Ivan, the handsome tuxedo cat. Well, I’m just a year old, so I can kind of be like a kitten sometimes. And I’m a little guy at just 7.5 pounds! But don’t let that fool you, I have enough love in me to knock a rhinoceros over!
My wonderful foster mom took good care of me when I first came to AARF, because I had some troubles with my tummy. But after my impacted bowel was fixed, those went away! I am required to be on a wet-food only diet, and I will chirp chirp chirp at you to let you know I’m hungry! Foster mom thinks its pretty cute. 🙂
I also have goofy feets! My one hind toe was amputated, and the rest of my paws are deformed (we’re not sure why!), but I don’t let that stop me from exploring, playing, and doing that crazy monkey cat run that we felines are so good at. The one thing I can’t do is jump, so I would love it if you could lift me up onto the fuzzy blanket you’re snuggling with so that I can snuggle to, I will repay you in purrs!
I also sometimes snuggle with my foster brother cat, which is great! So I would love it if you had another friendly kitty to show me the ropes and be my best friend. Cat-friendly dogs are great too! And I’ve never met one of those little humans, but if they were gentle and respectful, I bet we’d get along just fine.
So if you have a house full of snugly soft blankets and cans of delicious wet food, and you love whiskers, purrs, and goofy feets, I think you might be the forever family for me!!
