Jingle and Bell
Hi there! We came to AARF when our family of fourteen years decided to move on without us. As you can imagine, after fourteen years together, we were very attached to each other, and fortunately, AARF made it possible for us to stay together while we look for our new forever home to live out the rest of our years. I’m pretty sure we were Christmas gifts, as our names together say Jingle Bell!
Though Bell may be considered a senior, she’s still quite spry for a woman of my age – if there’s a feather toy involved, you better believe she’s playing with it! She can play with those feather toys all day long! Otherwise, she is super low-key and can usually be found hanging out and lounging around. Her favorite thing to do is sleep next to our human or Jingle – or both! We’re total sun worshippers, so if you have a deck that we can lounge around on, we’ll be out there bathing like it’s nobody’s business.
Jingle is the more outgoing of the two of us and has been compared to a dog quite often given how much he likes to follow around his human and love on them. He also love feather toys – and Bell! And food! And hugs! And pretty much anything you’ll throw his way. He’s just a cheerful, loving old guy. He’ll snuggle up with you at night or snuggle up with Bell – he’s good either way and is just happy to have companionship.
We are quite familiar with the litter box and also understand the word, “No,” which makes us quite rare for our species. We hope that our new forever home comes with lots of feather toys, some yummy food, a cozy spot to nap, and of course, each other. You should also know that Bell is FIV+, while Jingle is FIV- which means we can absolutely co-exist without any health issues!
