We’re in the business of saving lives. By donating, so are you.
AARF relies on public donations to fund medical, training, and other care costs to accomplish our life-saving work. As an all-volunteer, foster-based organization, we keep overhead costs razor thin – meaning, your donations go directly to the cats and dogs in our care. All donations are tax-deductible.
AARF rountinely spends $250,000 each year on medical expenses for the dogs and cats in our care. Donors like you make this possible.
Your donation may appear on your bank statement as “Bloomerang Payment” – our donation processor.

In-Kind Gifts
Our community drives us! AARF holds fundraising events and appreciates donations from local businesses or individuals to offer as prizes, raffles, or to sell in our largest event of the year, the AARF Online Auction. Employer Matches
Did you know many companies will make donations matching their employees’ charitable gifts? Some employers will even make cash contributions to match their employees’ volunteer service hours! Charity Navigator provides a helpful tool to determine if your employer offers matching gifts. Employer-matched gifts are a great way to make your gifts go further!
Donor-Advised Funds
As a 501(c)3 non-profit, AARF is eligible to receive grants from donor-advised funds (DAFs). To let us know about your plans to recommend that AARF receive a grant from a DAF, please email [email protected].
