Please join us in celebrating the adoptions of Moo Moo, Batman & Simba, Clementine, and Graham!

Moo Moo was surrendered by his owner to BARCS because he and the female dog in the house were having issues. Molly decided to adopt this pup and rename him Murphy and she is glad she did! She tells us “He has become literally my best friend! Murphy LOVES his people! He may bark once or twice when he meets a new person but will warm up in just a matter of minutes and become the biggest love bug you will ever meet! He is the best snuggler I swear! He also LOVES exercise and other dogs! I am a runner and I have been taking him on long runs and he keeps up the entire time! He makes me so happy!”

Batman and Simba (now Freddy) were trapped at a feral colony in Ellicott City when they were three months old. Fast forward to their new life with Anne: They are enjoying living indoors and are pretty much inseparable. They especially love the view from their apartment; watching birds and people walking outside around the Navy Yard. Ahhhhhhh, kitty happiness!

Clementine came to us from Tip Me Frederick and was part of the Sesame Street litter. This litter had nowhere to go since upper respiratory infections were running rampant in the local shelters. Clementine was adopted and has been renamed Calyx by her new mom, Megan. “She is very friendly, loving, affectionate and playful. She likes playing with the feather toys and pretty much anything she can paw around with on the floor,” shared Megan.

Graham was found as a stray covered in fleas and brought to BARCS by his finder. This adorable Poodle mix pup was adopted and now is living the life as a pampered pooch! His human sister tells us “Graham the super dog loves to jump! One time, he jumped off the vet’s table! He also is very strong and wins in a lot of tug-of-war games.” She also shared, “We have never seen a dog who loves couches so much when nobody is on them.” We understand that his bone is his favorite toy and he really enjoys walks. AARF is happy that this cute fellow found a wonderful home to call his own!
