Hi, humans. I’m Missy! I’m currently residing with my wonderful, loving, and patient AARF foster mommy. I made my way to AARF after being abandoned at a local swanky apartment complex. The property rental team kept an eye on me for a few weeks but no one ever came forward to claim me. However, they did not want to just dump me at the nearest local animal rescue shelter. Thank goodness!!! Instead, my guardian angels helped me get hooked up with this wonderful rescue.
Enough about my backstory, let’s get to the juicy stuff that will melt your heart and secure my spot as the next member of your household. I’m approximately 4 years old and weigh in at 10 pounds. I’m a domestic short hair brown tabby gal. I have impeccable kitty cat manners and am 100% litter box trained. I have a clean bill of health after recently having bladder stones surgically removed. For maintenance purposes, I’m on a restricted urinary health cat food diet. It’s no biggie. So no worries!
Let’s talk personality! I’m a laid back cat. I keep quiet with a meow here and there. I don’t do a bunch of hissing unless I’m out of my element and trying to get my bearings. I’m more bark than bite. Yes, I’m borrowed an analogy from my canine brothers and sisters! In short, I’m not the swatting type. Rest assured, I gradually warm up once I get the hang of things and build trust. Once the trust is there I’ll be your bedmate in no time. And, when you’re not around I’ll be grazing out the window daydreaming about your return.
